Durante dos años se realizó la caracterización de la muestra del ecotipo Trifolium glomeratum, entre otros. este material vegetal se recolectó de la flora espontánea de Portugal continental. Se aplicaron los descriptores definidos por el equipo del INIAV con base en los descriptores ECPGR existentes para especies similares.
For two years, the characterization of the sample of the Trifolium glomeratum ecotype, among others, was carried out. this plant material was collected from the spontaneous flora of mainland Portugal. The descriptors defined by the INIAV team based on existing ECPGR descriptors for similar species were applied.

En Portugal, está regulado que las especies presentes en el mercado (semilla pura o como componente de mezclas) deben registrarse en el Catálogo Nacional de Variedades. Por ello, tratamos de contribuir a poner a disposición del mercado una especie autóctona bien adaptada a las diferentes condiciones ambientales del Mediterráneo y con distintas posibilidades de uso.In Portugal, it is regulated that the species present on the market (pure seed or as a component of mixtures) must be registered in the national Catalog of Varieties. Therefore, we try to contribute to making available to the market an autochthonous species that is well adapted to the different environmental conditions of the Mediterranean and with different possibilities of use.

En 2022, el INIAV solicitó el acceso con el nombre provisional Tglo 15725 al Catálogo Nacional de Variedades Portuguesas, como variedad de conservación.
