Português de Germoplasma Vegetal (BPGV) has the mission of collecting, conserving, characterizing, documenting and valuing genetic resources, in order to ensure biological diversity and sustainable agricultural production, current and future, through two strategic objectives:
- In situ and ex situ conservation of genetic resources;
- Support for the implementation of policies related to the protection of biodiversity;

I started my professional career in 2009 as a research assistant in research projects.
Since 2011, I worked at INIAV/BPGV and i have the responsability in several activities, such as: Management, Agronomic characterization and evaluation of grain legumes, Viability of seeds; Morphometric characterization of seeds and fruits with basic image analysis techniques. Participated in several national and international projects.
